Get Extra Cash For Free By COPYING Pictures & Reselling Them (LEGALLY)

 - Free! Free! Free!

Everybody loves free!
Hey, everyone, and welcome back.
Today, I'm gonna be showing you
a fun way that you can get two things for free.
One of those, of course, being free money,
of course! (cash register dings)
Yep, in this video, I'm gonna be showing you
a fun method that people are using every day
to find super-popular pictures,
that you can copy for yourself
and then legally re-upload and sell online
and earn money on the side.
And as you'll see, this method is working
in many countries worldwide, too.
Plus, I'll also be showing you case studies
of people doing this right now
and reveal some of the tricks that they're using
to maximize their income from this method.
But that's not all!
As I said, I'm also gonna teach you
how to get a second thing that you can get for free
and that is my eternal gratitude
by taking a moment out of your very busy day
to give my video a Like and to subscribe,
because seriously, every time you do that,
it genuinely supports me,
so thank you so much for taking a moment to do so.
So yes, now that you have gotten
my eternal gratitude by clicking the Like button,
we can go ahead and get something even better,
free money! (cash register dings)
And to do that, we need to start off
by finding super popular pictures from very talented artists
that we are allowed to copy and resell.
And one of my favorite websites to find these
is this awesome website here, Rawpixel.
Here you can select to filter the pictures
to specifically browse through
their huge collection of historical public domain art
and download a copy of it
in high definition for free, legally,
because these pictures do not have any copyright protection.
Because you see, here is the thing.
Usually, when you paint or draw a picture,
it is immediately protected by copyright.
No registration required, nothing; it's all automatic.
And that is all thanks to an international treaty
called the TRIPS Agreement
that 164 countries worldwide have signed.
This means that, in these 164 countries,
the moment that you paint or draw a picture,
it is automatically protected by copyright.
No one is allowed to copy or resell your picture
without your permission.
However, copyrights do not last forever.
Eventually, after someone dies, they expire.
And when they expire,
these pictures enter the public domain,
which means that anyone is allowed to use these pictures
for whatever purpose they like,
even to copy and resell them.
And so what some very generous
and talented image editors and photographers have done
are they've taken photographs of popular historical paintings
and produced stunning, high definition reproduction pictures
of these works of art and uploaded them to the internet.
Courts throughout the USA in Europe have determined
that these replica pictures
are also part of the public domain
since they do not meet the threshold of originality
required for a photo to be protected under copyright.
Which therefore means that you can come here to Rawpixel
and download a copy of the high definition replica photos
of famous paintings that they have available
and it's perfectly legal to do so.
And, you're allowed to use it in any way that you want.
And as you'll see later in the video,
there are some very creative ways
that you can utilize these pictures to earn money.
So yes, that is step one of this method,
finding super cool public domain artwork to sell,
and then step two is to actually resell it.
So let's start off with the first website
that we can re-upload these pictures too and sell them on.
And the first website is, Redbubble.
Now obviously, my regular viewers know what Redbubble is,
but since I get a lot of new viewers on this channel,
I'll quickly explain what this website is and how it works.
So, Redbubble is an online marketplace
that sells all sorts of merch,
such as tee shirts and phone cases
and my personal favorite, stickers.
And of course, they sell prints and posters.
In fact, prints and posters
are some of the most popular products
that people buy on Redbubble.
The catch, though, is that it isn't Redbubble themselves
that design these posters that they sell.
Nope; instead, they rely on users themselves
to upload cool pictures that they can then print
and sell on-demand to customers.
And each time someone buys a picture you upload
onto a piece of merch, you get a commission.
So you see, take this poster here.
It wasn't Redbubble that designed or created
this poster picture.
Instead, it is this Redbubble user
that created a free account and uploaded this picture,
along with 53 other pictures, to the website.
And they've given Redbubble permission
to print and sell it on their merchandise
to their customers.
And so then, take that poster picture that they uploaded.
Well, what happens is each time a customer comes
and buys this poster, Redbubble will then print the picture
onto a poster in one of its print shops,
package it up, and ship it out to the customer.
They'll then remove the costs of production
from the money that the customer paid
and pay the rest of the profits
to the uploader of the picture as a commission.
In the eCommerce industry, we call Redbubble
a print-on-demand website,
because that's literally what they're doing.
They're printing merch on demand for customers
as they buy it.
And as you can see, it is very popular.
Every month, tens of millions of customers
are coming here looking to buy products.
And as a result, last year they sold over $400 million
worth of merchandise on behalf of sellers,
such as my subscribers and viewers
that have started successful Redbubble stores
after watching my previous video tutorials,
teaching different methods,
and now they earn extra money on the side each month!
Woohoo!
Congratulations, everybody!
But you see, here is the thing.
Something that a lot of people don't realize
is that not all the pictures you see uploaded to Redbubble
were made by the person who uploaded them.
So for example,
Gothic artwork is very popular on Redbubble.
Well, if we do a search for Gothic posters,
we'll see that the top-selling most popular posters
will show up at the top of search results.
And guess what?
Lots of them, such as this one here,
are just copies of historical paintings
that have been re-uploaded.
This one here is an oil painting that was painted in 1912,
but just because it was painted in 1912,
it doesn't mean it isn't still cool.
For people interested in Gothic artwork, it's timeless.
So that's just one case study.
There are so many examples.
Let's take a look at another.
This time, let's take a look
at another super popular niche on Redbubble:
Japanese culture and art.
And if we do a search for Japan posters,
you'll see that in the top-selling results,
there are lots of uploads of reproduction photos
of public domain art from historical Japanese artists,
such as this poster design here,
which is just a re-upload of a now-historical,
public domain woodblock painting.
And as I said, there are so many examples
of this on Redbubble.
Do you know what else is super popular on Redbubble?
Is animals.
People love to buy products featuring cool art and photos
of their favorite animals.
Well, if we do a search for cat posters,
guess what we'll find?
Yep, we'll find that people also love buying
re-uploads of popular historical artwork
featuring cats, too.
It isn't just fans of this artist
that would love to buy this now-public domain painting
It's fans of cats as well, so, as you can see,
when you re-upload pictures
of famous historical paintings,
you don't have to just limit yourself
to fans of the original artist.
Nope; instead, be creative!
Don't just limit yourself to try to find
popular artwork that people recognize
and think that you can only sell that.
Instead, when you're browsing through Rawpixel's website,
keep an eye out for art
that people are less likely to recognize but are still cool,
and that a particular type of niche customer would love.
So for example, this painting falls into the niches
of dogs and animals.
And if you take a look at the rest of her collection,
this artist created a lot of stunning artwork
that falls into a whole range of niches,
skeletons, Halloween, flowers, cats, beaches, all sorts.
So there are lots of niches
that you could target with this collection,
not just fans of her work specifically.
And if you'd like to learn more information
about targeting niche customers with pictures,
you should be sure to download my free ebook:
"The 6 Steps That 6-Figure Online Stores Follow
to Make Over $10,000 a Month",
and you'll find a link to download my free ebook
in the video description below.
But anyway, back to the video.
So then,
once you've gone through Rawpixel
and found a public domain image
that you think people would be interested in buying,
you then just create a free account on Redbubble
and upload the picture.
As long as you have a PayPal account,
you're eligible to register
and sell pictures on Redbubble,
so it's a website that people worldwide
in over 200 countries can sell on.
When you upload your picture,
you'll need to give it a title, keywords, and description.
Redbubble will then use your title, keywords,
and description to figure out
who they should show your picture to.
So for example, when I typed in Japan posters earlier
and that painting re-upload from the artist Hiroshi
showed up, the reason why it showed up
was because the person who re-uploaded it
used the word "Japan" as one of their picture keywords.
Figuring out which keywords to use strategically like this
will help you make a lot more money on and Redbubble
and there are lots of free YouTube tutorial videos
that you can search for and you can watch
to help you learn how to do that.
Also while uploading, as you can see,
you can choose which of Redbubble's products
you think your painting will look good on.
Redbubble's app will try and guess
which ones it thinks it will look best on and select those,
but you can manually override its choices
and toggle products on and off,
and you can resize the art and move it around
to place where you want it.
Again, for these types of pictures,
posters are most likely going to be your biggest seller,
but they can also sell well on stickers, phone cases,
and depending on the artwork, standard tee-shirts too.
So go through and pick which products
you think it'll look nice on,
and then, once you've done that, boom!
Redbubble's tens of millions of customers
can now come and find your art free productions
that you have legally re-uploaded,
and buy them on all sorts of cool merch,
like stickers, phone cases, art prints, and posters.
And you know what?
Redbubble is not the only website that you can do this with.
Nope; you can also scale this method
by uploading these free pictures
to other user-generated print-on-demand marketplaces
like Cafe Press and Tee Public and Zazzle.
Now, while these websites may not be
as popular as Redbubble since it's the biggest,
if used right, they can still be
a great source of extra cash.
For example, take Zazzle.
It still gets around 15-ish million visitors a month
so that's still a lot of customers.
Well, if we come here and do a search for Japan posters,
guess what we will find?
We will find that some of their most popular posters
in the trendy Japan niche are also just re-uploads
of historical Japanese paintings and prints
that are now in the public domain,
such as this one here, which is just a re-upload
of this now-public domain painting and print,
so, as you can see, the strategy,
it is not exclusive to Redbubble.
You can sell on multiple different websites
with this strategy.
